The Marathon Swiss 41mm Steel Navigator w/ Date Automatic (SSNAV-D AUTO) is the first ever Steel Navigator to feature a self-winding automatic movement. Packed with Swiss-precision and reliability, the SSNAV-D Auto is developed for pilots and everyday adventurers. The watch represents the continued lineage of Marathon’s original Steel Navigator, developed in partnership with the Kelly Air Force Base in 1986.
The 41mm Steel Navigator w/ Date Automatic (SSNAV-D Auto) is driven by a Swiss made 26 jewels Sellita SW200-1 movement, renowned for its precision and reliability. Equip with Incabloc Shock absorber for added protection against vibration and harsh impact. The case is built from 316L surgical-grade stainless steel with a screw-down crown and synthetic sapphire crystal, providing this timepiece with a water resistance rating up to 10ATM (100m/300ft), The case design features enhanced lug tapering, providing a comfortable fit and making the SSNAV-D Auto ideal for all-day wear.
Thanks to its increase height, the 12 HR GMT bezels offers improved grip, allowing pilots to handle the bi-directional rotating bezel easily, even when wearing flight gloves.
Atop the SSNAV-D Auto watch, safeguarding its dial, rests a scratch-resistant and exceptionally durable sapphire crystal. This feature empowers the timepiece to endure extreme fluctuations in air pressure, crucial for its deployment by military pilots navigating altitudes surpassing 35,000 feet.
Visibility in low light conditions is at the top of its class thanks to the self-contained tritium gas tubes on the hour markers, and all hands. Tritium tubes are self-illuminating, containing an isotope of hydrogen that won't dull down over time like photo luminescent paint, meaning the watch will remain fully legible at all hours. The bezel also features inset-painted indices, enhancing the legibility of the markings.

This watch is powered by Swiss-made ETA High-Torque FØ6 quartz movement, high-torque pinions connect the movement to the hands.
The 41mm case is made from 316L stainless steel. Visibility in low light conditions is at the top of its class thanks to the self-contained tritium gas tubes on the hour markers, and all hands. Tritium tubes are self-illuminating, containing an isotope of hydrogen that won't dull down over time like photo luminescent paint, meaning the watch will remain fully legible at all hours.
The watch also features overbuilt bezels for manipulation with gloved hands; screw-in crown and O-ring system for 30ATM water-resistance.
