This Messerschmitt special edition watch is inspired by the Messerschmitt Bf 109, a German WWII fighter plane. Its all-metal construction, closed canopy, and retractable landing gear made it one of the more modern fighter aircraft of its time. Its operational use spanned from the Spanish Civil War to the end of WWII. The Bf 109 remains one of the most produced fighter planes in history.
The ME109-42R7 Red 7 watch features an image of its namesake on its dial. Other features include a black dial, a date window at 3:00, and a 42mm stainless steel case with a screw-in case back. A Swiss Ronda 515 quartz movement powers this aviator watch and sits on a brown leather band with rivets

About Messerschmitt watches:
The Aristo Uhren- and Uhrgehäusefabrik (Aristo watches and watch cases manufacturing) was founded in Pforzheim in 1907 by the watchmaker Julius Epple. In 1998 Helmut Epple, the founder's grandson appoints the watch designer Vollmer as his successor. In 2005 Vollmer fusions the development of Aristo and his own family business, the 1922 established watchband manufacturer Ernst Vollmer and founds the Aristo Vollmer GmbH.
Today Aristo offers unusually low-priced watches of type pilot's watch, dive watch and sports watch, and the motorsport series Aristo Timing. The watch range "Messerschmitt" reminds us of its models of the legendary airplane brand of the same name.

Inspired by watch shapes and designs of the 1970s, the Spinnaker Dumas represents a more muscular form in dive watch design. Taking its name from the famed diving pioneer Frédéric Dumas, the watch harkens to a capsule of dive watches that were designed explicitly for pure function and practicality in their role as pieces of diving instrumentation.
With a more muscular and bold silhouette, The Duma Sandblast SP-5081-LL leans on more interesting, industrial like forms which captured the imagination of watch designers in the 1970s for practical as well for aesthetic reasons. A strong octagonal watch chassis is topped with mineral crystal 120 click uni-directional turning bezel with luminous calibrations.
The bezel serves to frame an unfussy, utilitarian dial featuring round and rectangular hour markers topped with Swiss Super-LumiNova for increased low light legibility. The oversized minute hands, serve the watch as a clear read out of time elapsed, delivering the watch as a unique piece of diver instrumentation.
The hexagonal shaped link construction bracelet that catches the light and detail of its finish while delivering a securely robust yet comfortable wear at any time. Each edge of each link is precisely chamfered and assembled into a bracelet that perfectly mirrors the strong geometry of the Dumas SP-5081-LL case.
